It has been said that history does not repeat itself, but it rhymes perfectly.
There are many in this nation who are laboring under the delusion that they will sort out their political differences at the polls during the midterms and all the way out as far as November of 2028, as if that date were not an impossible millennium away.
Many Americans are, however, waking up to the fact that their vote is not going to matter as long as this regime continues its reign of terror. If the elections go forward as scheduled, the regime will simply seize the ballots, as they did in their recent dress rehearsal in Georgia.
Anyone who thinks that the seizure of those ballots was really about the 2020 election is not paying attention to what is happening.
But even those who are slowly rousing from their slumber and realizing that democracy is lying flat on its back, too many of these are failing to grasp the moral weight of the trial which this perilous hourpresents us.
Let it be known by all Americans, this slide into tyranny will be nothing whatsoever like life under Communism. For the average despot is concerned mainly with holding onto power regardless of the consequences.
But it is the exceptional tyrants of history who we must be extra cautious of, those who are driven by two equally despicable motives, those of power and hatred. We have such a monster in our midst.
In the beginning, even Hitler managed to make things better for the average German citizen—the ones he deemed worthy in his warped view. But in the end, his hatred of the Jews drove him to fling even Berlin itself into the flames.
Many dictators at least somehow managed to strengthen their countries in some manner, before eventually destroying them through a toxic stew of avarice and hate.
But America’s current “leadership” is a comic farce, nothing but the rising costs of everything, the disappearance of all hope for a stable climate and the education of our children, senseless violence, and the emergence of World War Three being only a hair’s breadth away from us.
Absolutely nothing good has come from Republican governance. Nothing even remotely close to useful has arisen from this nightmare dystopian fever dream of useful idiots.
Our American rendezvous with darkness will be more like the wholesale slaughter of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, or the genocides which have so often ravaged African nations and Muslim countries. [See list of genocides.]
If you believe this untrue, then ask yourself why, why in the name of all things holy, would the “president” of the United States send innocent people to CECOT?
If this was not a litmus test for what is to come, then what else could it be?
The Southern States never fully yielded the war of 1861, and they vowed to rise and fight again.
And this is what we face now on this expanded ground, all of it stolen from Native peoples, and drenched in the blood of all races and religions.

The pseudo “philosophy” of White Supremacy, an idea so thoroughly stupid that it may be adequately summarized in a mere Fourteen Words, is promising to annihilate all semblance of the country in which you have lived your entire life.
If these people (a bastardized word, as used here) should succeed in holding power in this nation, then we shall, all of us, have failed.
We will not have failed to win the midterms. We will not have failed to win the White House.
We will have failed the ultimate test, the test of Good versus Evil.
We will have quietly surrendered the last vestiges of our very humanity.
I beg you, do not surrender this effort unless you and I both are lying mortally wounded in the streets, having given what Lincoln called “The last full measure of devotion.”
Only then, will we have the justification of saying that we did our best to stem the tide of what can only be called the purest form of evil that we are likely to ever bear direct witness to with our own eyes.
Anything less is the failure which cannot be stomached, can’t be slept with, and cannot bear to look upon itself in the mirror.

I have made myself abundantly clear in this space, many times. I believe there are only two likely outcomes in the near future, and I have been very open about it, despite the criticism I receive from most people.
One outcome is the solidification of an oppressive authoritarian regime in the United States of America. Critics will argue that the US has always been an oppressive regime, and they are not incorrect. However, they are foolish to think that it’s not about to become a hundred times worse if nothing is done to stop it. We will see something akin to a Fourth Reich.
And despite everyone having watched January 6th in real time, the average citizen is hiding their head in the sand, pretending that it could not possibly happen again, much less be worse. But it will be worse, much worse.
The other potential outcome is an uprising, and it’s hard to predict what such a thing would look like. But it’s clear that the citizens would themselves be taking up arms against the government. No one in the Democratic Party has the backbone to stand up to this laying low of the Constitution. Anyone trying to stop it doesn’t have the necessary support.
But rather than try to persuade anyone, yet again, why I believe these are the only likely outcomes, I’m going to give you different perspectives, the opinions of others. I don’t know that I have anything new to add, at least, not right now.
So, in no particular order, I give you some videos and articles that I’ve collected over the last several weeks.
The SAVE America Act
The bill, called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility, or SAVE America Act, would require Americans to prove they are citizens when they register to vote, mostly through a valid U.S. passport or birth certificate. It would also require a valid photo identification before voters can cast ballots, which some states already demand. It was approved on a mostly party-line vote, 218-213.

In addition to your driver’s license or State ID Card (which are fairly standard IDs) you might also be required to present your birth certificate or passport.
And there’s zero guarantee that they will not seize the ballots from any number of polling stations, insisting they (the Republican Party) count the ballots themselves. Who’s going to stop them? The same people who stopped them from seizing ballots in Georgia? (Because that was NOBODY)

The author of the article below is an incredibly intelligent man, and his work has proven to be disturbingly prophetic in the past. On the one hand, he is saying that it’s not too late to prevent the orange blob from subverting the midterms. On the other hand, he gives a laundry list of things that Democrats would need to do in order to prevent it.
I’m, shall we say, skeptical, at best.
Who’s going to stop them from doing it? The same people who are stopping the new Nazi SA/SS goon squads from terrorizing the country and killing innocent people? Who, exactly, is going to do all of these things that this author says we should do? Again, I agree with his assertions. But I disagree with his optimism.

Once again, the Black Panthers are standing up, while the rest of us Americans slink around in shame, afraid of taking up arms.
But the Black population of America has NEVER been safe in this country. They already understand the assignment. They know that no one is coming to rescue them.
If the rest of the people who are so busy peacefully protesting would do the same, then you might actually see some positive results, possibly even without violence, although I wouldn’t count on it. But yes, it is possible, because it would be REAL PRESSURE, and not just performance art.

I sent the piece below to every politician in my state (Oregon) that I could find an email address for. Of course, no one replied. They would never consider the ideas presented here in a serious manner, but I expected that.
I mention this because it’s only fair to warn you, don’t ever say to me, “Call your representatives!” If you do, I will likely not respond in a kind fashion.
If you went through all of those pieces and you still want more, then you should know two things. First, you are not well. You should seek help.
Second, you already know everything you could possibly need to know about what we’re facing. The only thing left to do is either get on your knees and practice kissing New Nazi ass, or take the advice given and start preparing yourself to fight.
America, you are already at war. You have been for over a year, you just didn’t know it.
I have been saying since November 6th, 2024, “Well, there it is. We’re going to slide into full-blown authoritarianism, unless we fight it out in the streets. We will not get free and fair elections unless we revolt.”
People said I was just being paranoid.
But here we are:
The gerrymandering race has begun
Threats of “federalizing the elections”
Saying “We shouldn’t even have an election”
Threatening to have ICE SA goons at all the polling stations to scare away voters of color
Threats of the Insurrection Act
Threats of war on multiple fronts (Iran, Venezuela, Greenland, etc.), so they can use martial law to suspend elections
Impeachment
I also have been saying that impeachment is a pipe dream. It has never once removed a president from office. It takes two-thirds of Congress to convict, and it’s a Republican majority.
The 25th Amendment
The 25th Amendment is also a pipe dream; not going to happen.
A National Strike
A national strike will hurt the workers more than the oligarchs. The average American can’t afford to risk losing their job, and can’t afford to miss a single day of work. In fact, the average American worker is one or two sick days away from financial disaster.
The people who push this idea the hardest are always the most privileged people, the ones who can’t understand why others KNOW they can’t participate in it.
For a day? Sure. For a week? Maybe. Probably not.
Long enough to do real damage to the system, to make the oligarchs cave? Fat chance.
It’s a ridiculous strategy.
Lawsuits
Lawsuits are the dumbest strategy of all. The orange toddler king has 34 felonies and didn’t do a single day of time. it is immune to lawsuits.
Grow up. The clown turd cheated its way to the top, suing people, cheating people out of money it owed them, and basically skating away laughing every time.
And that, as you know, is why that disgusting reject from Housewives of New Jersey is worshipped by the most horrible, hateful, disgusting people in America. They love the thing because the thing gets away with everything it does.
Contacting Your Representatives
Writing letters and emails to corrupt politicians who already know what you want? Nope. Not going to help. Phone calls? Same thing.
The ones who need to do the right thing are already dug in too deep. They can’t reverse course now. They know the American people will never forgive them. They have to win, or they know they will do prison time or worse.
I vote for WORSE.
The ones who are trying to do the right thing (like Bernie Sanders and AOC) are simply powerless, outnumbered. They don’t need to hear from you. They can’t do anything. They would if they could.
Boycotts
Boycotts? Nope. Temporary hits to the pocketbooks of the insanely rich. You can’t starve out people who have more money than God. You do not simply try to lay siege to billionaires. That’s not a Sun-Tzu-approved strategy.
You attempt to starve out people who can’t afford to miss any profits. That describes the American people, not the oligarchs.
The richest ones will pay handsomely for power. They will happily kick money downstream to pay their henchmen to use heavy-handed tactics to keep the workers in line.
Video and Whistles
Whistles and cellphones don’t stop Nazis. That’s a nice gesture, but that is all that it is… a gesture. When you blow a whistle, you buy a little time for the immigrants you alert with your whistles. But where will they go to be truly safe?
It will make you feel better, like you’re doing something. But it’s a half-measure:
Think through the steps. Always ask yourself the question, “And then what? What happens after that? Okay, and then what happens after that happens?” And so on.
The immigrants are not safe until the tyrants are out of power and ICE is disbanded, they’re all fired and then new people are hired under stringent rules, background checks, careful training, and put under strict rules of conduct that are enforced.
And that will never happen as long as the orange garbage bag of diarrhea and vomit is in office.
What’s Left?
America, you are at WAR. Time to grow up and accept the harsh realities of our current situation.
It’s time to gear up and be ready to do what your forefathers did. I don’t say this lightly. I am studied in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and other wars.
The Revolutionary War had fewer casualties because of a lower population, and more primitive weapons.
The Civil War had both a much larger population and rapid advances in the technology of warfare, hence the first major (large scale) battle of the war, Shiloh, had more deaths (around 23,000 or more) than all previous battles in American history. Before the war was over, there would be at least 600,000 dead.
A war today, however, would be thoroughly unpredictable. It would most likely be incredibly costly, in terms of lives lost and casualties suffered.
But it would be asymmetrical warfare, with no clear lines of battle. It would be violence springing up here and there, and otherwise, life would remain relatively normal for most people.
That doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be horrific, because it most certainly would be. But you have to consider several things:
First, you’re already there. The experts all agree that all the conditions have been met. It’s just a matter of which event on which day is going to set the powder keg off. Here’s just one such person: author of The Next Civil War.
What is the alternative? The only alternative is to bend the knee to a pedophile felon who wants you to have no healthcare, no science, no education, no access to vaccines, no allies in the world, and no future.
You will have to turn a blind eye to the rape and murder of immigrants, the imprisonment of the orange shit stain’s political opponents, and you will have to be content letting them hijack your elections and your democracy.
You will be spitting and pissing on the graves of every single person who died in every American war, the people who fought Britain for Independence, the people who fought the Confederacy to end slavery, the people who fought Hitler, Mussolini, and Hirohito in WWII, and the people who fought in all other wars.
You will be mocking their sacrifices, through your cowardice, your unwillingness to risk your life and your freedom.
And if you do that, then you deserve to live in horrible conditions and awful, terrible, miserable shame for the rest of your worthless existence.
Think this “isn’t your job?” Think again. Well before the fighting became intense in the Revolutionary War, as early as 1771-1773, every male Colonist between the ages of sixteen to sixty was expected to serve in the militia.
What modern Democrats have failed to understand is that the “well-regulated militia” mentioned in the Second Amendment has ALWAYS been about the citizenry.
The Founders were constantly saying that it was essential for the people, the individual citizens to retain their rights to keep and bear arms. They made no confusing statements, no cryptic arguments that might be interpreted in multiple ways.
Rather than quote the Founders, I’m just going to quote the Second Amendment and encourage you to look for the examples yourself. Americans are entirely too used to having information spoon fed to them these days. Use search engines to search for facts for yourself.
Of course, if you’re reading my work, you probably already do that. Because people who have the patience to sift through my articles and poetry are generally intelligent people because I demand more from my readers.
Unfortunately, most people still hear, “Look it up!” and they never actually do it. But you are probably smarter than that, so please, search for examples that show how the Founders did indeedwant the individual citizens to retain their rights to keep and bear arms, precisely because of the kinds of danger from tyranny that we now find ourselves facing.
The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Side Note: Perhaps the greatest disservice that organizations like MOVEON.org have done is to “flood the zone” (deliberately using the language of that PoS, Steve Bannon) with messages that are counterproductive. They make memes and videos that always say things like,
“So and So [name of celebrity or Democrat] DESTROYS [name of orange abomination]!”
My response to this garbage is, “No, jackass. Destroy? Really? Destroy means to strip all power and efficiency from a person or thing, to obliterate it. Last I checked, the orange monstrosity was DESTROYING us, daily. So, shut up.
Also, the expression T.A.C.O. isn’t helping anyone. That’s NOT what is happening, anyway. Yes, there are lots of temporary changes in direction, but orange turd always comes back and does it again. The tariffs, the third term talk, you name it.
it temporarily changes course to get YOU, the American people, to relax and focus on other things. Then, later, the terror threats resume again, as if they’d never ended.
What to Do?
Organize with people who are willing to die over this. You need nut jobs like me, people who hate Nazis so much that they’d rather die than see a fucking Nazi continue to breathe.
Arm yourself and train. Practice your Second Amendment rights, and do it legally. Go to the range. Get a concealed carry permit. Learn to field-strip and clean your weapon. Learn how to clear a jammed weapon. Get lessons if you need them.
Want to train with non-fascists? Find your local Socialist Rifle Association. They don’t care if you’re not a Socialist, just as long as you’re not an active-duty cop, a domestic abuser, or a fascist. They’re very LGBTQ-friendly and very responsible gun owners. They will train you. They’re really nice people.
Prep. Store shelf-stable food, water, and water purification methods. Stock up on first aid supplies and medications and medical manuals.
Also, start collecting military manuals and books about tactics, particularly guerrilla warfare tactics, you know, for the um… historical value, like for schoolwork and stuff. Yeah, that’s it, schoolwork.

None of this discussion is pleasant. To be perfectly honest, I think I am looking at my last days. I don’t expect to survive this bullshit. But I promise you, I don’t write that sitting here, wiping tears away. No, nothing of the sort. It’s more of a bitter scowling frustration, because I know that if this proceeds unchecked, there will be no real quality of life in America.
What I mean is that I would bet everything that I own that the tyrants will not stop, but rather, they will escalate.
Since I’m unwilling to sit back and watch that unfold, I don’t see how I have any other real option than to do whatever I can, play my part, whatever way is most effective. There’s not much I can do until everyone finally realizes that none of the options discussed above are viable, except for revolt.
I would rather read books, watch movies, eat good food, chase girls, play guitar, listen to music, write poetry, and pretty much anything else, anything that doesn’t involve fighting Nazis in the streets.
But there are Nazis in the streets, and they hurting people. There are Nazis on the Hill, and they’re hurting people.
If we Americans on the Left had any backbone, we’d all start talking to our neighbors today about forming armed “neighborhood watches.”
We would follow the brave and inspiring example of the good people of Lincoln Heights, Ohio.

The Black community has been in danger in the United States since before it was technically a nation. When Nazis demonstrated in Lincoln Heights, the people of that neighborhood knew that no one was coming to save them.
Unlike White Liberal Americans, who are clutching their pearls and waiting for the courts and corrupt politicians to save them, the Black community of Lincoln Heights immediately kicked into gear. They knew that if they did not stand up for themselves, then no one would stand for them.

But why would you bother to form an armed neighborhood watch in your community, when you (probably) haven’t had Nazi or KKK or Proud Boy demonstrations in your local area?
You should be doing so because actual Nazis have infiltrated your government at the highest levels.
If this doesn’t inspire you to fight, then there’s just no fight in you.
You have RFK suggesting the first stage of a Aktion T4 style eugenics program, a national autism registry.
You have ICE, the new Gestapo snatching people off the streets and sending them to super prisons in El Salvador, without proof of any crimes, or any due process.
Often, they arrest the wrong people, and in some cases, still deport them or put them in a death prison, all without proof of having committed any crimes.
I made this. Nazi lives don’t matter. Those fuckers know where to find me. Nobody is going to tell me that anyone needs a job bad enough to be a Gestapo agent. Fuck those guys. They betrayed their country.
If you’re still laboring under the delusion that you will just “vote them out” in the midterms and in 2028, then you have not been paying attention.
Nothing about the actions of the last hundred days says “respect for democratic principles.” The regime does not believe that you deserve DUE PROCESS. What in God’s name makes you think they intend to allow you fair elections?!
Have you asked yourself why any government officials would take such murderous and cruel actions against their citizens, if they had any intention of ever leaving office and living amongst those same citizens?

The Supreme Court is never going to strongly rule against the king they so recently crowned.
Even if they did, who would they send?
The Department of Justice sends the US Marshals to enforce its orders. However, the president appoints the head of DoJ, and that brings Pam Bondi into the mix.
The situation is incredibly complicated, but suffice to say, I have not yet seen any compelling evidence that any court has the right to arrest the president, especially after that nightmare ruling by the Supreme Court.
The ultimate authority over the US Marshals belongs to the president, whether it is obvious or not. They’re technically under the authority of the Department of Justice.
But Republicans have been seeking out constitutional weaknesses for decades, and they have finally found enough of them to exploit them for their attempt to finally finish off democracy, once and for all.
As we’ve all seen, despite all the ranting by orange traitor about “weaponizing the DoJ,” it’s truly being weaponized now, going so far as to arrest judges and threaten law firms with criminal prosecution.
If the Supreme Court can’t enforce orders, then what makes us think that ultimately the lower courts will be able to enforce theirs?

Even if you chose to ignore the millions of lives lost all across the globe because of Nazis, certainly you wouldn’t ignore it in your own backyard, would you?

Surely, commonly decency impels us to defend our immigrant neighbors, the health and safety of the women who are your mothers, sisters, wives, cousins, coworkers, and friends?

However, it is not even remotely comparable in one sense. That is to say, the Founding Fathers didn’t have one-tenth of the reasons to revolt that you do.

I could tell you that, yes, you could win, if you were willing to fight, if you were willing to take the same risks that the Founders took for liberty.
If you were willing to take the risks that you daily ask your police and military to take, then you could be free of the tyranny.
Any intelligence analyst, who is worth their salt, from the CIA, NSA, DoD, DHS, CSS, DIA, NGA, or the NRO could tell you the same thing:
Even a half-hearted, sustained guerrilla warfare campaign waged by the people would be devastating, even against the US military.
Let’s be honest, they wouldn’t tell you that.
It wouldn’t be in their best interests to reveal such a potentially volatile and dangerous reality. But if you were good friends with one of them, they might let the truth slip out.

How is that true that you could win a war against the most devastating military force on the planet?
How? When they have a million active duty troops and almost a million reservists? When they have automatic weapons, grenades, Blackhawk helicopters, drones, and tanks?

The United States has more guns than people, and far more Liberals own guns than you think
Here are a couple of YouTube videos that illustrate some of the basic concepts of how a new civil war might unfold, and how radically different it would be from the first one.
These videos are far from perfect.
There are plenty of unknowns in such a theoretical scenario.

Who Will Win?
If you think a guerrilla warfare campaign can’t succeed, you need to talk to some veterans of Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, or any of the “secret wars” like Nicaragua or Ukraine.
Yes, we regularly send “operators,” ex-military intelligence operatives, into battle in non-official war zones. They know.
Of the one million active duty troops, they are:
Scattered across the entire country and the entire world, on foreign bases
Not entirely in support of the regime; even if 75% were rabid MAGA, and they completely ignore their oaths, that’s still a quarter million who would fight alongside YOU; I’m willing to bet that it would be many more than that
They’re not able to secure the terrain of every house, barn, garage, factory, warehouse, office building, or apartment complex in every town, city, or hamlet across a country as large and diverse as the United States
They cannot possibly patrol every national park, forest, lake, or valley; look at the complexities of patrolling just the Southern and Northern borders
The people of Canada and Mexico (and most of the world) are on OUR SIDE. They will happily assist us in smuggling supplies to us, to aid our fight; seeing the fascist regime fall is in their best interests
Insurgency Is a Bitch

If the military were suddenly forced to deal with the American population rising against them, all across the entire nation, they wouldn’t stand a chance.
If even a tenth of the population decided to fight, the fascist regime wouldn’t have a chance to resist.
While it’s true that the right wing is keen on military service, gun ownership, and being survivalists, they’re not automatically victorious because of these things.
The Left are the ones who have a deeper understanding of history, and therefore strategy, and what actually works in warfare.
While right-wingers are usually the ones on the battlefield, using weapons, left wingers are usually the ones designing those weapons.
The Left has the chemists, engineers, and thinkers.
The Left has many of the computer programmers and hackers. The doge douchebags have shown us that we don’t have all of them, but we still have more.
Pen & Sword
The pure brawn and brute force of a right wing soldier is imposing and impressive. But even Genghis Khan knew that this was only half the battle. Superior strategy regularly prevails over brute force, and sometimes over superior numbers.
And the Right, despite what they would have you believe, does NOT have the superior numbers.
Even with psycho riot cops, hired Blackwater militias, Proud Boys, Neo-Nazi groups, and the KKK, they do NOT have the numbers.
And frankly,
they don’t have
even half
the brain power.
The ambushes they’d walk into.
The internal power schisms within the military and the police forces would keep them in constant damage control mode and paranoia.
They would exhaust untold resources, trying in vain to locate the heads of “terrorist cells” (what the regime would label them).
There might not even be an official army to stand against them. It would not matter. They’d be doomed.
Consider the fallout of situations like the Red Brigades of Italy, the French Revolution, the French Resistance of WWII, the Troubles of Northern Ireland, the Battle of Algiers, or Che Guevara’s guerrilla war in Cuba.
I might have a meme-making problem
The United States military is the most dangerous military machine on Earth. Still, the fact remains that counterinsurgency is a fool’s errand.
And you, my fellow Americans, are the insurgents. Or rather, you could be, if only you were willing to place a higher premium on liberty than you do on your precious stock market.
If only you cherished the freedoms and protections of your sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, friends and neighbors, as you do your freedom from prison or the threat of death.
Occam’s Razor basically posits the idea that we should look for answers that have the smallest set of elements.
In other words, “the simplest answer is usually the correct one.”
If You Always Do What You’ve Always Done…
You can choose to believe that you will vote the bad guys out in the future, but I don’t share your optimism.
You might choose to believe that the traitors in Congress will suddenly grow a conscience and a spine.
If they somehow did both, then perhaps they would impeach. However, most Americans are entirely ignorant of how difficult it is to remove a sitting president from power.
The Supreme Court, Congress, the oligarchs (with their Dark Enlightenment and End Times Fascism) who bankroll the fascists, the Heritage Foundation, and the rabid MAGA base who still support this madness, all of them are to blame.
You might think that peaceful protests are going to change their minds, but I don’t.
You might think that a national strike would make a difference. But I don’t personally believe that the oligarchs, who have more money than God, and who now want to play God with human lives, are unwilling to forfeit some monetary benefits in exchange for the raw power that fascism affords them. I think it’s foolish to expect to starve them out. They have the advantage, to say the least.
Even if you think there’s such a thing as “a bridge too far” for Supreme Court justices like Alito and Thomas, I don’t. Even if they believed that all Americans wanted impeachment or conviction, they are well past the point of return. They can’t afford to change course now.
The lower court rulings are being partially respected, yes. But the Republican regime is still fighting those battles, which tells you who they are.
And they’re allowing you to witness them “obey” the courts on small matters, so you will hopefully forget how they are completely ignoring the much larger, far more important issues, like the Supreme Court’s ruling that they must “facilitate” the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
I can’t even say the words, “Call or write your Representatives!” without throwing up in my mouth. They know what you want. They know what you need. The ones who would help you if they could cannot. The ones who could help you will not. Don’t be ridiculous.
What Then?
Back to Occam’s Razor, I have pondered this and pondered it, until I can’t ponder how I might ponder any more. For the life of me, I cannot see any way in which the American people escape this situation without a revolution. Not an economic boycott or strike, not another protest, not anything of the sort. An actual, old school revolution, just like the Founding Fathers.
Maybe you can see something that I don’t see. Let me know what I am missing here. Speak slowly and use small words.
I will be the unpopular voice in the room. We’re dealing with psychopaths who will NEVER respect anyone else, listen to reason, or consider logic that doesn’t work in their favor.
“Violence” is what perpetrators do. It’s why we have police and military, to protect us against violent people.
“Force,” even deadly force, is what we use to stop violence against ourselves, our families, neighbors, and our country.
What happens when the people at the highest levels of government are themselves violent, selfish, and sociopathic?
When the politicians who are supposed to represent you have no respect for human rights, the Constitution, due process, habeas corpus, or the law of the land?
What then?
Do we roll over and refuse to protect ourselves? Do we refuse to defend our neighbors, families, children, livelihoods, freedoms, or nation?
Do we erroneously cling to our failure to distinguish between force and violence?
We are like children who, having never seen a chicken killed and plucked, sit at the table and eat, calling it delicious.
But upon witnessing the act of killing the bird, we recoil in horror, chastising the one who did the deed, calling them a brute.
But when they stop, and there is no fresh fried chicken on the table for our supper, we moan and complain.
The people of Ukraine, civilians, immediately began training in military tactics when they learned that Russia was preparing to invade.
The United States of America is a nation born of rebellion. It was not a “violent” revolution, but a courageous act of self-defense.
The Founders knew King George was a tyrant and cared nothing for their welfare. They knew that no one would come along and save them.
They knew that if they did not stand for themselves, no one would stand for them, and they would be ground beneath the boot heel of tyranny.
The courts are buying you some time. However, that’s the extent of their power. The time they are buying you is time you are wasting.
The reason the regime is not making more fuss about the “losses” in court is simple:
They have already won the biggest court battle, but they did so without technically winning.
They know they don’t have to return anyone from El Salvador because no one will make them do it.
They don’t have to stop abducting people off the streets, even full citizens, because no one is going to force them to stop.
You are dealing with sociopaths. They are the equivalent of serial killers in three-piece suits. They only speak the language of violence.
They only respond to the language of force. Continuing to state your case verbally is ridiculous. They already know they’re wrong; they DON’T CARE.
We already know they are wrong; we don’t need to hear it seven hundred sixty-three times.
The only people who can save the American people are the American people.
If you need a model, use the neighborhood watch of Lincoln Heights, OH. They understood the assignment.
They are the Black community, and they have never been able to naively expect that someone in uniform, or an expensive suit, would come along and protect them.
Like the people of Ukraine, they knew they must stand for themselves.
Despite being the “more educated” party, Liberals, Democrats, and Progressives seem to be woefully ignorant of history.
Our present moment is NOT parallel to the Civil Rights movement.
The beautiful strategies of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi are impractical in this current state of American affairs.
The opposite of the Civil Rights movement was merely preserving the status quo.
It wasn’t about the total subjugation of every single American citizen who is not already a billionaire.
Therefore, it is not accurate or wise to assume that “non-violent” forms of protest will protect the people of this country from a violent dictator.
We have already witnessed them snatching people off the streets and sending them to foreign prisons, where standards are well outside the acceptable standards of the Geneva Conventions.
Then, we witnessed two dictators sit in the Oval Office and laugh at all of us. They cracked jokes about “homegrown criminals.”
Each of them smirking as they said, “I can’t do anything about it. Can you?” And the other responds, “Who, me? No. I don’t have the power to do that!”
They’re mocking you because you allow them to.
They’re the schoolyard bullies who never learn. That is, they don’t learn until some new kid they pick on turns out to be tougher than they are, and unwilling to put up with them.
When that new kid thoroughly whips their punk asses, they slink back under the rocks they crawled out from beneath.
But they will not retreat one single moment sooner than that. Bullies must always be physically put in their place.
The only exception is when a strong disciplinarian teacher or principal steps in and ends the conflict.
But our Congress, Supreme Court, State governors, and most of our mayors have proven that they are not up to the job.
We need wartime leadership, leaders who are willing to take bold steps, such as calling out the National Guard to deter ICE, instructing State Police to protect every citizen and legal immigrant, or face termination.
Steps are needed such as governors and mayors allowing and encouraging citizens to organize neighborhood watch groups like the one in Lincoln Heights, Ohio.⠀
Local officials should not only be encouraging this, they should be funding it and overseeing training, by bringing in former military personnel and law enforcement experts.
Such experts can teach citizens how to be safe and proficient with firearms, and how to de-escalate conflicts when possible.
But they can also teach them how to use force when necessary, using the least drastic measures necessary.
I consider it absolutely essential that we be greatly expanding access to trauma first aid courses, such as TECC. That’s Tactical Emergency Casualty Care.
If citizens don’t end up shooting someone who they view as a kidnapper, then certainly we still run the risk that one of these fake, cosplay ICE agents ends up seriously harming someone through their complete lack of training, experience, or integrity.
There should be at least one person on every city block who is certified in trauma medicine, or at least familiar with it.
The alternative is not pretty, citizenry, full of pure, unbridled rage, rising up in small, unofficial vigilante groups and causing chaos and destruction.
It’s only a matter of time before this occurs. Setting up a series of dominoes in a line and tipping the first one denotes a predictable outcome, not a wildly speculative slippery slope fallacy. Seeing how such events will soon begin to take shape is merely common sense.
Local governments could easily take genuinely effective action by channeling the rage of the people into effective safe training of local militias, instilling in them the sense of duty that would constrain them against making rash decisions.
But someone must stand. The courts are doing their best, but they have no real teeth.
However, Democrats will likely not take the initiative and do these things. I expect no such bravery from any of them.
So, I beseech each and every person who stands against this tyrannical fascist regime to do it themselves.
Be safe. Be responsible. But be fearless and be determined.
Responsible citizenship behooves us to be proactive and protect our neighbors, our communities, and our freedoms.
The sycophants in Congress are loving their new levels of power, as well as the occasional extreme profits of the president’s insider trading schemes. They will not budge from their shyster positions of extreme privilege.
Nothing about this regime’s actions over the last hundred days says “respect for democracy and democratic freedoms.”
To believe that they will take away your due process and rob you of your right of habeas corpus, but that they will allow you to have free and fair elections is the height of naïveté.
To think that they will illegally pitch autos on the White House lawn, but will not rig elections is dumb.
You are watching them offer influence over US government decisions to foreign nationals through contributions to an illegal bitcoin account. To think they are not planning to jail anyone who speaks out is just plain stupid.
They’re already in the process of rigging future elections, so they will appear to have integrity on the surface, but will have nothing underneath.
If you cannot bring yourself to believe this, then either you are gullible, or the president truly is 6’ 3” tall.
The military is bound by oath not to interfere in civilian politics, even when the politicians are trampling on the Constitution.
Unless the military forgets their oath, unless they fire on the people or unlawfully arrest them, then they are the only blameless party in all of this, so far.
Every train of thought leads
Until you stand for yourself, America, your situation will deteriorate daily.
I repeat, why would they take away your rights of due process and habeas corpus, unless they intend to subject you to terrible things?
Put yourself in this hypothetical situation. Say your young child was walking down the street, and a pedophile tried to abduct them.
If a full-grown adult were standing there when it happened, would you accept anything less than their one hundred percent effort to stop the abduction?
I doubt it.
I’m willing to bet that if you saw the video played back and saw that adult beat the hell out of that would-be attacker, you would shower the defender with loving, thank-you praise and probably offers of money, food, friendship, etc.
You would tell the story of that brave defender for the rest of your life.
But if the video showed you that this person merely stood by and shouted at the abductor, I’m willing to bet that you would be furious.
You might even go so far as to physically attack that person yourself, screaming at them, “Why didn’t you do more to stop them?!”
Well, guess what.
This fascist regime IS abducting people off the streets of America, and you and I are merely standing by and watching, and consoling ourselves that we are doing enough… because we rage-posted about it online.
But I am asking you right now, in the name of whatever you might believe in, why are you not doing more to stop it?
Whether you believe in some deity, the Constitution, your country, basic decency, or just the love of your family, why are you not throwing yourself physically between the innocent and their attackers?
I say to you, no, you have not done enough. You have not done nearly enough. You have not even begun to think about doing enough.
Until you are willing to fight tooth and nail to defend your neighbors, you forfeit the right to complain about anything that this regime has taken from you.
You’re not doing enough until you are willing to show the fierceness of a mother bear defending her cubs.
You must be willing to extend a mother bear’s fierceness beyond your cubs and extend that circle of protection to your neighbor’s cubs.
It does not matter that your neighbor is an immigrant. It does not matter that you do not even know your neighbor’s name.
If you would call yourself an American, then you will get off of your delicate little ass and throw yourself in between that immigrant or his wife or his child and their would-be abductors.
You will not allow yourself the opportunity to hesitate and tell yourself, “Oh, but I could go to prison! I could get hurt or even killed!”
You will not coddle yourself with selfish thoughts such as, “But then who would take care of my children?”
We are either a tribe or we are a random bunch of strangers.
If you will not defend your neighbor or your neighbor’s family, then you forfeit the right to complain when others will not defend you or yours.
To hell with all your rage-posting. Screw your phone calls, emails, and letters to corrupt politicians who already know good and goddamn well what you want and need.
I don’t care how many protests you marched in. If you are not willing to risk life and limb, then I spit on your protest sign.
Fuck your stupid boycotts, unless you are willing to boycott AND throw yourself in harm’s way to defend another American from Nazis.
If you’re willing to do both, then we can be friends.
