scene

A scene, yes, but what kind?

well, now
it’s all
messy

look at
what you’ve
done

it looks
broken,
disheveled

you’re a
lawless
little thing
and I must
put you
back
into
order

I thought
I had sufficiently
pinioned you
in place

but you
interrupted
my concentration,
my rhythm,
my timing

when you
opened
your hot
little
miscreant
mouth

and so,
I had to
fill it with
something

shut it up,
make it
quiet

and now,
everything
is a wreck

chaotic,
unkempt,
all in
disarray

I’m going
to have to
pick up
the pieces,
myself,
and put them
back in the
box

I was
planning
to make you
do that
for me

but now,
you’re
obviously
in no
condition
at all

shambles

it will
not come
easily

it’s going
to take some
pressure,
elbow grease,
and circular
motion

all of these
stains
you’ve
made

hot water
and soap
might not be
enough

utterly
destroyed

and I’d had
so many
beautiful,
imaginative
plans

for the
rest of the
evening
